KOKOŠKOV I SANSI PIŠU ISTORIJU NBA: Oduševljenje, ekstaza, vera i nada – pogledajte kako su Amerikanci ispratili dolazak Kokoškova (FOTO)

Igor Kokoškov je od danas i zvanično prvi neamerički trener koji je angažovan da sa klupe predvodi nekog NBA ligaša.

Čast da „probiju led“ imali su Finiks Sansi, kojima je to izgleda stvar navike, pošto je prvi Evropljanin koji je u NBA stigao iz neke evropske lige, Bugarin Georgi Glučkov, draftovan upravo od strane Finiksa.

Iako je odigrao samo jednu sezonu, Glučkov je trasirao put mnogim neverovatnim košarkašima, između ostalih našim Peđi Stojakoviću, Vladi Divcu, Nikoli Jokiću, ali i Toniju Parkeru, Dirku Novickom…

Da li će isto uslediti i na mestu trenera, videćemo. Jedno je sigurno – Amerikanci su ubeđeni da je angažovanje Kokoškova najbolji potez koji su Sansi mogli da naprave:

I’m still an Ayton guy til the end of time. He’s the logical choice and the better player, but I’m slightly more comfortable drafting Doncic with Kokoškov in the picture. If anyone can maximise Doncic game, it’s probably him.

I’m still digesting the hiring of Igor Kokoskov for the Phoenix Suns. I think the European influence can work wonders in terms of creating a fun offense that will work in today’s game but I would have liked to see Fizdale get the job.

Luka Doncic and Book will be in years to come maybe the best backcourt duo in NBA, and Kokoskov was his coach in national team of Slovenia, so it’s what I expect suns to draft Doncic, also i would like Igor to bring couple of Ex-Yu players (Dragic, maybe Teodosic, Bjelica,…)
